Immerse Yourself in Lilia's Enchanted Abstract Forest
Welcome to the Enchanted Abstract Forest, an immersive artistic experience by Lilia Munn where each tree transforms into a portal of emotion, memory, and imagination. Lilia invites you to explore this forest unlike any other—a whimsical landscape shaped by abstraction and sensory discovery. At the heart of the exhibition is Lilia’s ongoing artistic experiment: a deep exploration of how her expressive, vibrant abstract art transforms across different mediums. Throughout the forest, you’ll encounter her artwork as it interacts with silk fabric, clay, stained glass, paper, plastic, and light—each material offering a new lens through which to experience color, texture, and mood.
As you journey through the space, you’ll encounter a variety of sculptural forms that offer glimpses into Lilia’s evolving artistic vision. Towering six-foot-tall metal trees shimmer with warm twinkle lights, illuminating mulberry silk fabric printed with her vibrant abstract designs. The atmosphere shifts as you approach a clay tree sculpture adorned with stained glass talismans, each glowing with Lilia’s signature abstract art. Amongst the branches, small clay figurines gather like quiet guardians of this dreamlike world. Scattered throughout the forest, illuminated cubes—first seen in Somatic Configurations—appear in even greater numbers, casting soft glows in the environment. The viewer is invited to interact with the color scheme of the forest by changing the color of the light cubes with the touch of a button, shifting the mood and meaning as visitors move along the path.
Footprints on the floor create a path to guide visitors deeper into this magical forest where abstraction lives and breathes. Importantly, the Enchanted Abstract Forest is designed to be wheelchair accessible, with the exhibition entrance proudly displaying the universal accessibility placard as a reminder that creativity must be a place where everyone belongs.
Through this immersive environment, Lilia offers more than just a display of artwork—she opens a living, breathing world where abstraction shifts across mediums, inviting visitors to feel, move, and dream inside her ever-expanding vision.
