A Year in Color, Collaboration, and Courage: 2025 at Lilia’s Eye Candy

2025 was a year of movement across disciplines, cities, and communities, all guided by Lilia’s art and her belief that creativity has the power to open doors. From groundbreaking collaborations to major exhibitions and national markets, each chapter of this year built upon the last, expanding what’s possible when art, fashion, and accessibility intersect.
Here’s a look back at some of the moments that shaped our year.
January / February
Collaboration Without Limits
We began the year with a powerful collaboration between Lilia’s Eye Candy, BILLY Footwear, and Trexo Robotics: a meeting point of art, adaptive fashion, and assistive technology. This partnership celebrated inclusive design and innovation, spotlighting Lilia's art piece, Visual Symphony, on BILLY's best-selling Classic D|R II Hightop shoes. Lilia modeled these shoes while walking independently in her Trexo gait trainer and Rifton Pacer, exemplifying how creativity can thrive when accessibility is centered from the start. It set the tone for a year rooted in collaboration, intention, and impact.


March / April
Somatic Configurations at California Institute of the Arts
Lilia debuted her first solo exhibition at CalArts with Somatic Configurations, a body of work exploring gesture, embodiment, and sensory experience. Created using vision-tracking technology, the exhibition marked a major milestone in Lilia’s artistic journey — both academically and professionally — and offered an intimate look into her evolving abstract language.

May / June
Enchanted Abstract Forest
Just weeks later, Lilia returned to CalArts with Enchanted Abstract Forest, an immersive exhibition that expanded her visual world into a vibrant, layered environment. Color, movement, and imagination took center stage, inviting viewers into a space that felt both playful and deeply intentional.

July / August
NY NOW & the Innovation & Impact Trailblazer Award
Summer brought Lilia’s Eye Candy to the national stage at NY NOW, where the brand exhibited among leading design and lifestyle labels. This moment was made even more meaningful when Lilia’s Eye Candy received the Innovation & Impact Trailblazer Award, recognizing our commitment to artistry, inclusion, and social impact. It was a powerful affirmation that Lilia’s story — and her art — resonates far beyond the studio.


September / October
OC Apparel Show, Palm Desert
In the fall, we headed west to the OC Apparel Show in Palm Desert, connecting with buyers and creatives in a resort-wear and lifestyle-focused setting. The show offered a new audience for Lilia’s wearable art and opened doors to exciting conversations about where the brand is headed next.
We also landed two new retail partners, Anza-Borrego Desert Natural History Association Shop and BK Collections in Los Altos, expanding Lilia's Eye Candy's presence across California.


November / December
Randolph Street Holiday Market, Chicago
We closed out the year at the iconic Randolph Street Holiday Market, bringing Lilia’s Eye Candy directly to holiday shoppers in Chicago. Meeting customers face-to-face, sharing Lilia’s story, and watching people connect emotionally with her art was the perfect way to end the year — grounded in community, joy, and human connection.
