EYEGAZE ART

Lilia is a 19-year-old Ukrainian-American artist who uses an eye gaze communication system to create beautiful and unique works of art using her eyes. Like the Ukrainian artists before her who have fought oppression, Lilia fights to break through physical limitations caused by her disability to create her art. Leveraging innovative eyegaze software programs, Lilia creates exquisite digital art that is a symphony of unique colors, textures, patterns, and digital effects. 

Lilia's 'brush strokes' on her digital canvas appear spontaneous and immediate, using her eyes to move around the page to access different brushes to change the effect or color of her markings. However, Lilia's art is far from a fleeting moment; she spends many hours layering her art until she ends up with a striking, completed piece.
