Lilia’s Sparkle Shines on DAYBUE’s Website

We’re thrilled to share that Lilia is now featured in the Sparkle Gallery on Daybue’s official website—a special spotlight of stories about how DAYBUE has improved the signs and symptoms of Rett syndrome in loved ones.

What many may not know is just how deeply Lilia is involved in the fight to cure Rett Syndrome. Through Lilia’s Eye Candy, she actively supports fundraisers by donating products for auction and contributing a percentage of sales toward research and advocacy.

Lilia’s commitment doesn’t stop there. She proudly took part in all five phases of the clinical trials for Trofinetide—the first-ever FDA-approved treatment for Rett Syndrome, now known as DAYBUE. Completing the full trial process came with its share of challenges, especially during the pandemic, but Lilia stayed the course with resilience and determination. Her participation played a meaningful role in bringing this groundbreaking treatment to life.

While on DAYBUE, Lilia has experienced notable improvements in her eye control—an essential tool she uses to create her stunning abstract art. She even celebrated the drug’s approval by creating two original pieces: "Trofinetide Celebration 1" and "Trofinetide Celebration 2." These artworks were so meaningful, they were featured on the Neuren stock exchange in Australia, one of the companies that developed the drug.
We’re beyond proud of Lilia’s sparkle, both as an artist and as an advocate.
